Speed and Agility Training

Speed, Strength, Agility, Flexibility, and Injury Prevention are all critical but often overlooked areas of soccer training. RMT soccer is committed to training the whole athlete and we are proud to introduce Alex Lopez as our Speed, Agility & Strength Coach.

The program uses age-appropriate exercises to begin the process of improving our athletes' general movement mechanics, injury prevention, and increasing strength, speed, and agility. Alex is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA, CSCCA, & USAWA. He is an adjunct professor at UCF, has worked with the Orlando Sharks, USA National Softball Team, Pittsburgh Pirates & Cincinnati Reds minor league teams, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Birmingham Southern, Assistant Strength Coach & Sport Psychology consultant at FSU, and was an NCO in charge of personal fitness and testing in the US Army.
